Certificates of deposit between 41 months to 59 months earn an APY of 2.00 percent. The minimum opening deposit for all certificates of deposit is $1,000.
CD accounts at EmigrantDirect are insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance protection for up to $250,000 per account. The bank also offers FDIC insurance protection for up to $1,250,000.
